Laxma Goud is a master of media having successfully worked in oil, acrylic, watercolour, pen, ink, gouche, print-making and sculpture in bronze and terracotta. Most of his art is depictive of the rural landscape of his childhood as if they were frozen in time. Through these exquisite paintings and drawings he transports his viewers to a rustic past where the men and women are in bright coloured clothes with ornate jewellery and set amongst animals and flora. There is also a recurrent theme of unselfconscious eroticism in his works.
